Born in 1945. 
In 1969 defended his diploma at the Philological Faculty, and later at the Faculty of Economics and Commerce, at the University of Catania. 
From 1970 to 1989 was a professor at the Faculty of Economics and Commerce at the University of Verona. 
Since 1995 has been accredited by the Central Bank of the Russian Federation (The Bank of Russia) as Head of the Moscow representative office of the Banco Ambrosiano Veneto. The Banca Intesa SpA was later formed based on this company, and is today known as the Intesa Sanpaolo Group. 
Since 2003 has held the post of the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Banca Intesa, the Russian subsidiary company of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group. 
From 2004 to 2008 was appointed President of the Association of Italian Entrepreneurs “GIM-UNIMPRESA”, which unites around 150 Italian companies operating in Russia. 
Was awarded the Order of Friendship by the President of the Russian Federation, V. Putin, in 2008, the Star for Labor Services by the President of the Italian Republic, Carlo Azeglio Ciampi, in 2006 and an award pin from the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs “for his contribution to international cooperation” (ordered by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2015). 
In 2007 founded the Know Eurasia Association in Verona, a public non-profit organization aimed at developing and deepening the cultural, social and economic ties between Italy and the countries of Eurasia. 
In 2008 received a degree of Doctor Honoris Causa from the Plekhanov Russian Academy of Economics. 
In May 2008 was appointed the Honorary Consul of the Russian Federation in Verona. 
In 2012 became President of the Supervisory Board of the first Russian-Italian foundation for direct investments, Mir Capital, which was founded by Intesa Sanpaolo and Gazprombank.

Graduating from Cornell University and Harvard.
 Was a member of the Political Science Department of the RAND Corporation for over 10 years and professor of public policy at George Mason University. 
He worked in the US Department of State in Middle East affairs and was deputy director for European political-military affairs. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Rand Corporation, of the Board of Governors of the Pardee Rand Graduate School, and of the advisory boards of the Journal of Democracy, the Inter-American Dialogue, The New America Foundation, Evolutionary Psychology and FINCA. He holds honorary doctorates from Connecticut College, Doane College, Doshisha University (Japan), Kansai University (Japan), and Aarhus University (Denmark).
Francis Fukuyama is Olivier Nomellini Senior Fellow at the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies and is a senior fellow at the Center on Democracy, Development, and the Rule of Law at Stanford University. He joined Stanford from the School of Advanced International Studies of Johns Hopkins University, where he was the Bernard L. Schwartz Professor of International Political Economy and director of SAIS' International Development program. He is also chairman of the editorial board of The American Interest.

In 1978–1988, worked at the America and Canada Institute of the USSR Academy of Sciences, first as Junior, then Senior Researcher, where he managed a sector.
In 1988, became one of the founders of the Europe Institute of the USSR Academy of Sciences, in 1989 – 2010 serving as Deputy Director. His specialisations included the study of the economic aspects of foreign policy, Soviet-American relations, US military strategy, disarmament, and European security.
In 1989, defended a doctoral dissertation on the topic “The Role and Place of Western Europe in US Strategy Regarding the USSR (1945 – 1988)”.

One of the founders of the independent television company VID. 
A television producer, journalist and broadcaster, he is holder of both the Order of Merit for coverage of the fighting in the Chechen Republic, and the Order of Friendship for his substantial contribution to the development of domestic broadcasting. 
During his teens, he was drawn to mathematics, politics and sport. By 1984, he had graduated in Economics from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO). 
In 1996, he took a course at Harvard University, entitled ‘Election campaign manager and political consultant’. 
He has worked in television since 1987. During this time he has risen up the ranks from correspondent to the first Deputy Director General of the TV channel Rossiya. 
He is Vice-President of the Academy of Russian Television. Since November 2011, he has been the Director General of RBC TV.
In 2012 – elected as a member of the Federal Committee of Civil Platform Political Party
In 2014 – left the post of the General Director of RBC-TV, while remaining a member of the Board of Directors.

In 1999 – Program Director of the Körber headquarters in Russia and the CIS, established by the Körber Foundation and the DGAP Research Institute. Editor at CIS barometer until 2012. Director of the “Russia / Eurasia” program, German Council on Foreign Relations (DGAP).
He currently works as research director at the German-Russian Forum, senior advisor for Russia at Wintershall Holding GmbH and advisor to the President of the German-Russian Chamber of Commerce. Alexander has published around 300 articles in international and scientific magazines and papers, a monograph on the situation in the Soviet Union and the former Soviet Union, he co-authored a report of the Trilateral Commission titled The New Central Asia, as well as biographies of Mikhail Gorbachev (1986) and Vladimir Putin (2000). He provides comments for both television and radio shows and takes part in round table discussions. Alexander has written reports in Germany and aboard. Provides political consultations and participates in the Petersburg Dialogue.

From 1987 to 1989 served as a conscript in the army.
In 1991 graduated from the economics department of St Petersburg State University. 
From 1989 to 1991 also studied in the same university’s law department. From 1991 to 1993 taught in the economics department of St Petersburg State University. 
From 1992 to 1999 was general director of Rossi. 
From 1999 to 2004 was general director of Corporation S. 
From 2004 to 2009 was chairman of the St Petersburg Administration’s Committee for Investment and Strategic Projects. 
In 2009 was a member of the St Petersburg Administration and chairman of the Committee for Economic Development, Industrial Policy and Trade. 
On 4 December 2009 was appointed director of the Department of Industry and Infrastructure of the Government of the Russian Federation. 
On 21 May 2012 was appointed Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation by Presidential Decree number 660.
Has been awarded the medal of the Order of Service to the Fatherland 2nd Class and the Governor of St Petersburg’s badge for the humanisation of St Petersburg’s schools.

From 1985 – Masters of Arts in Economics, University of Cincinnati;
From 1987 – Professor of Economics at Wilmington College in the state of Ohio, in the USA. At various times he has been Department Head and also Area Coordinator for Accounting, Business Administration and Economics; From 1989 – Ph.D. in Economics University of Cincinnati.
Starting at the age of 15 began working ardently for social justice doing substantial work with the United Farm Workers Union until his mid-twenties. Steve Continues to work for social justice, equality, and the environment; working with or consulting for on a pro-bono basis, environmental and labor organizations, candidates for political office who demonstrate a commitment to social justice and ecology, as well as indigenous groups and tribal governments. Has also been the author of many articles on social justice, environmental economics, primers in economics for social activists, and the economies of indigenous and aboriginal peoples as alternative economic systems, in numerous on-line journals such as Journal of Globalization for the Common Good as well as printed journals such as Kosmos.

Graduated from the Department of Economics of St Petersburg State Transport University with honours. In 2003, he earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the International Management Institute of St Petersburg (IMISP). 
In 2007–2012, he worked as First Deputy General Director of JSC Freight One.
Since 2012, he has been President of SG-Trans.
On 16 October 2015, he was appointed acting General Director of JSC Federal Freight.
On 9 December 2015, Mr Taycher was appointed General Director of JSC Federal Freight by the Federal Freight Board of Directors.

Born in 1947.
Has two degrees, one in mechanical engineering from Delft University of Technology and another in economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
Earlier was a Supervisory Director at De Nederlandsche Bank (Dutch central bank) and was Vice-Chairman of a group of experts who advised on a new Strategic Concept for NATO.
In 2012 took up the role of Chairman of New Energy Architecture WEF (World Economic Forum). In the same year became a member of the Executive Committee of the Governing Board of the EIT (European Institute of Technology). 
In June 2009 was appointed by Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands as a Commander in the Order of Orange-Nassau. Also in 2009 became an honorary Citizen of Singapore.
